Need plans for the weekend? Head to the Dallas Observer Music Awards this Saturday, December 2nd. The 29th annual showcases is a one-night event that features 50 local bands in Deep Ellum, TX. The venues include Club Dada Indoor & Outdoor Stage, The Door, Green Room, Off the Record, Prophet Bar, Reno’s Chop Shop, Three Links, and Trees!

How do they pick which bands to feature?
Well, the Dallas Observer asked movers and shakers in the Dallas music industry to nominate the best of the best for this year’s ballot! Those nominations were whittled down to more than 200 finalists divided into 40 categories. You will get to hear half of those bands/musicians at the Dallas Observer Music Awards!
This event celebrates the local talent who make up the thriving, dynamic music community of Dallas. A general admission ticket gets you access to all participating venues; VIP tickets include all of the above, plus three drink tickets at VIP Private Bar upstairs at Trees, food, Dallas Observer Music Awards T-Shirt, Parking Pass, and access to VIP Restrooms.
Box office opens at 6 p.m. and is located on Elm Street next to Trees.
If you want to know the who wins, you can attend the free ceremony on Tuesday, December 5 at Canton Hall. Just to be clear, this ceremony is FREE and open to the public! There will be performances by Dallas Observer Music Awards nominees in between announcement of the awards.
All Guests must be 21+, with a Valid I.D.
