Disclaimer: This post, Weekend Guide: The Perfect Staycation at the Hyatt Regency Frisco is sponsored. As always, all opinions are my own.

DETAILS

The Hyatt Regency Frisco is a gorgeous 18-story 303-room hotel, located within Frisco’s Stonebriar Centre at the intersection of Preston Road and the Sam Rayburn Tollway.

Upon arrival, we immediately noticed the contemporary lobby space with cute décor and natural light that encompasses dining concepts and areas for working individually or in small groups. The hotel can be accessed from the Stonebriar shopping mall on the second floor, located between Nordstrom and Dillard’s. We thought this was so cool! Definitely coming back to the Hyatt Regency Frisco when COVID-19 cases decrease to take advantage of this feature. We love the mall!

AMENITIES

The 303-room hotel has a 27,500-square-foot conference center, ballrooms, breakout spaces, a large lobby bar, two restaurants, a pool, gym, and a 3,000-square-foot satellite Public Library which is accessible to hotel visitors and city residents.

OUR THOUGHTS

Safety

We felt very safe and enjoyed our staycation at the Hyatt Regency Frisco. All guests wore masks and most guests did too. When we checked in, I asked about the safety measures being taken and how many guests were in the hotel. There were about 30 people staying at the Hyatt Regency Frisco at the same time we were (which made us feel better). This may not be the case for you so be sure to ask.

Below I will insert what we were told about the Hyatt Regency Frisco's safety measures. You can read more about it here:

"Our guests and associates health and safety is our main concern and the Hyatt Regency Frisco-Dallas hotel is following all stated government and CDC recommended guidelines and the guidelines that are suggested through the Hyatt Global Care and Cleanliness. This includes hand sanitizing stations, glass over the check-in desks, following social distancing guidelines and the implementation of enhanced food safety. Hyatt Regency Frisco-Dallas is dedicated to the wellbeing of our guests."

They have sanitizer everywhere you look almost and the common spaces are huge (good for social distancing). Overall, we felt comfortable enough staying here and would do it again.

Food and Drink

We were amazed by the vegan options at the Hyatt Regency Frisco. We got our drinks and food from the Copper & Steel Table and the Copper & Steel Bar.

To order dinner, we walked up to the bar to set up a no-contact delivery to our room. Ordering was easy and the staff was super helpful about what was vegan and what was not. We got the jumbo pretzel with mustard, margherita pizza (no cheese with cauliflower crust), french fries, and the chef made some vegan tacos for us. We did not get the cherry wood smoked tofu sandwich but recommend that you try that too.

To drink, we got two different types of mules delivered to our room as well. The Texas Prick and the Original are the best mules on the menu and are too good! Highly recommend those for you to try.

Pool and gym

We went to both the pool and the gym during off-peak hours. We had both spaces all to ourselves too. The gym is equipped with tons of equipment, sanitizer, and signs to skip every other machine.

The pool is outdoors and has tons of seating for you to distance yourself away from others.

What is nearby?

We stayed at the Hyatt Regency Frisco the whole time. After checkout, we went to IKEA to look for apartment furniture but that is it. Other nearby attractions include Toyota Stadium, which is home to FC Dallas ( a major league soccer club), Frisco Discovery Center, and other entertainment attractions.

That is all we have for this staycation! Thanks for reading this Weekend Guide: The Perfect Staycation at the Hyatt Regency Frisco! Vlog footage will be uploaded tonight to this post!
