History was made in our own backyard!

We explored Dallas like never before with Food Tours of America. If you never been on a food tour before, you definitely want to check this out. They are prefect for everyone and any occasion. Read about who they are and get a glimpse of the tour that feature the best of Dallas.

About Food Tours of America (FTA)

Food Tours of America is rated #1 food and drink activity in Dallas. This tour is PERFECT for foodies, locals and newcomers. Attendees get to relish in amazing food while the tour guide informs the crowd about Dallas’ culture, history, fun facts and more.

On their food tasting tours, you’ll sample signature dishes from a variety of four to six restaurants and learn about each restaurant’s commitment to quality. Select Dallas walking tours now offer optional alcohol pairings to complement thier food tastings such as a pineapple-infused martini paired with Mediterranean fusion! Luckily, we went on the food and alcohol pairing tour!

About JFK Dine & Walking Tour

While FTA  has plenty of tours to pick from, we chose to attend the JFK tour. This tour begins in the Historic West End where our expert guide took us on a Dallas’ only walking tour of the JFK experience.

We visited the John F. Kennedy Memorial Plaza, stood at the grassy knoll assassination site, and more. After we relived history, our tour guide took us on a food tour in West Village - Uptown Dallas. This part of the tour features sit-down restaurant tastings from top knot eateries and bakeries.

Our Thoughts

We rank this tour a 10/10. It is the best and most effective way to visit a vast array of restaurants and see the sights. The FTA team is great at accommodating for those who have dietary restrictions. Gluten free, vegan, vegetarian, carnivore? No problem. Everyone will get to sample menu items.

Our tour guide was very knowledgeable about historical facts, current events and hidden treasures. They were funny, hospitable, engaging and patient.

Tour ranges from $72-90 USD and lasts for 4 hours. You can read more here
