SIPS BY GIVEAWAY & REVIEW

Welcome to What Taylor Likes!

This month’s gift is a subscription box to Sips by, a tea company. Sips by is a new startup based in Austin, Texas. It was founded by a group of tea lovers who wanted the tea experience to be fun, personalized and affordable.

Staci Rhea, one of the founders, said “Sips by acts like a matchmaker for tea lovers. I created Sips by because I was spending too much money trying to find teas I would love. I never knew if I was buying a quality product, relative to the price.” Sips by is unique because it exposes you to new brands and latest tea trends at an affordable price.

To get a personalized box sent to your doorstep, the process is simple. The only thing you have to do is fill out a tea profile form. Based on your preferences, the company will match you with teas that you will love.

The form will allow you to indicate your particular tea likings, i.e. unflavored or flavored and caffeine-free or caffeinated. It will also inquire about how many cups of tea you drink per week, what kind of tea sparks your interest, if you have any food allergies and more.

Once you complete the form with billing information, you will get four tea samples from different brands. That’s fifteen cups of fresh tea!!

The best part is that the subscription is only $15 a month + plus free shipping. That is $1 a cup. What a deal!

REVIEW & TASTE

In my Sips by box, I received Hot Cinnamon Spice (Harney & Sons), Masala Chai (Rishi Tea), Raspberry Pecan Rooibos (Zhi Tea) and Blue Lady (Zest Tea).

I was sent these four teas because they are high-caffeine and high-flavor. I wasn’t surprised by the company’s selection because in my tea profile I indicated that I enjoyed highly caffeinated and nutty/chai flavored teas.

My Review: Soooo, I am coming off of a juice cleanse and I am limiting my caffeine intake. Luckily, the Raspberry Pecan Rooibos tea is caffeine-free!

Making the tea was easy. All I had to do was follow the directions on the back of the package. The Sips by literature that came with the box suggested that you drink the tea with nutty desserts or toast with jam. Man, I can see why!

The tea has a strong nut smell, and it tastes like a sweet, pecan dessert. If I were a few days into my post-cleanse, I would add a splash of vanilla almond milk. I would have this tea with cinnamon rolls, overnight oats or spiced muffins!

The ingredients of the Raspberry Pecan Tea are: 100% Red rooibos, pecans, natural raspberry flavor, natural pecan flavor. All organic.

Overall, I loved the tea I sampled and can’t wait to try the others. I also appreciate the rating feature on Sipsby.com. I can rate the teas I received ito enhance my future matches.

This subscription is a must for me! To win one Sips by box for FREE all you have to do is fill out the form and follow the directions below! The giveaway ends March 30th, 2017 at 11:59 pm.
