Human trafficking happens in almost every country…especially in the United States. According to dosomething.org, human trafficking is predominate in my home city. “The National Human Trafficking Hotline receives more calls from Texas than any other state in the US. 15% of those calls are from the Dallas-Fort Worth area.”
To think that several victims are being exploited and subjected to slavery, prostitution and more is unbearable.
Since human trafficking is such a global and local dilemma, we are glad that brands like Calyan Wax Co. are dedicated to eliminating the problem in the United States. The Clayan Team sent us two candles to try and let us tell you…they are amazing.
The Caribbean Teakwood scent came in a glass tumbler and is masculine, bold, and complex, leading with spicy top notes of ginger, pepper, and pimento berry. It reminds of so much of fall! The Caribbean is out of stock, but you can purchase the Musk + Teakwood glass tumbler.
We love the glass tumbler design because it features two wicks! That's double the good smells in your space!! You can even re-use your glass for coffee, cocktail of juice.
The Oakmoss + Amber scent came in a metal tin. It has a sophisticated scent of woodsy, musky mixed with herbs and amber. Enticing to both male and female. This candle is infused with natural essential oils, including sage, lavender, and orange.
The metal tin design is super durable, travel-sized, and has a remarkable burn time.
