WHAT TAYLOR LIKES TURNS ONE!

Blogiversary

HOLY …COW!

It’s my Blogiversary!  September 2016 officially marks the one year anniversary of What Taylor Likes. This time last year I took a brave, but scary, step and created a space that would allow me to share life experiences with my friends, family, and readers. I can hardly believe how much I have grown because of this site…because of you!

We have come so far since my first post on September 13, 2015. You were virtually there when…I published my first giveaway on What Taylor Likes. I vented about my post-grad problems in The Top 5 Horrific Realties of My Post-Grad Life.I experienced a Christmas without Presents. I wrote about my 2015 year in review in my Life’s Most Memorable Moments post. You saw me visit a TEXAS SIZED Ranch for the first time. Helped me celebrate my 23rd birthday. Collaborated with Kristyn Renee Jewelry, Fashion Blogger Tatum Norris, Businesswoman/ Entrepreneur Shanthi Rajaram, Trainer and Gym Owner Robert Selders and  The All Natural Healthy Cookie.

You were there when…I went Vegan! I traveled to Austin, California, Germany and Seattle (post on my trips to New Orleans, Houston and Florida are to come). I shared my experience with racial profiling at Dick’s Sporting Goods. I wrote about my mild encounter with depression, uncertainty, and insecurity right after college. I wrote a letter to my dad discussing how fatherlessness impacted me. Lastly, you were there when I published a post addressing racial harassment in the workplace.

Whew, that was a lot.

During this year, many of you emailed me in order to express your thoughts on what I had to say:

Hello My Lovely, I just wanted to let you know that you are an inspiration to me. I am so proud to call you my best friend! I love you! :)

I'm so very proud of you!!! I'm praying bountiful blessings upon your vision and goals.

I am so extremely proud of you, the thankfulness you're expressing and the entertainment/exposure you are providing! I look forward to your Thursday posts!

Taylor, WOW!!! You are amazing!!!! I am proud to know you, sweet girl!!!!

Thank you all for your inspiring comments and support!

What’s next for What Taylor Likes? I have a lot planned for this blog. While I cannot disclose what is in the works, I can say that I plan on collaborating with other bloggers, publishing more weekly posts and newsletters and holding giveaways every month as always.

Thank you for sticking with me for this long! If you have any comments feel free to say something in the comment box or email me at whattaylorlikes@gmail.com. Don’t forget to subscribe!

Until Next Time,

Tay
