Single on Valentine’s Day? No problem. We have some fun Dallas events you can go to this week and next. Go stag or bring your friends to these fun activities! Dallas Arboretum: Friendship Tea  

 

From now until February 23rd you can relish in the Arboretum by treating yourself to a three-course tea service in the beautiful DeGolyer Tea Room. Tea service begins with soup, followed by an assortment of tea sandwiches. Don’t forget to end the experience on a sweet note with dessert. Scones with clotted cream, jam, and seasonal tea selections are included!. Price includes general garden admission and parking, so be sure to allow time to enjoy the gardens.

Deep Ellum Mimosa Walk: Valentine’s Day Edition

Price: $35-57

 

We love Mimosa Walks! This "Sip & Shop" event is from Noon - 3pm. Check-in table opens at 11:30am and is located outside Life of Riley, 2814 Main. Upon check-in, you will receive a souvenir glass, map, and wristband. This is a self-guided tour with samplings of mimosas at each location on the map. We recommend that you get there early! The booze goes fast.

Power BAR Pole Fitness: Sensual Chair Dancing Class

Price: $17

Women Only

 

 

Wow!!!! If you really want to practice self-love and do something for YOURSELF, head to Power Bar Pole Fitness for a Chair Dancing Class.

 

Power Bar claims that you will pick up “10 simple, easy movements to express femininity and sensuality like you have NEVER done before! These movements will make you fall in love with your self. Experience step by step instruction on how to swivel those curves and strut your sexy. We will be moving to slow and sexy R&B in your bare feet or HEELS using the pole, chair, and our own hands to trace our bodies.....”

Bishop Ciderade: Valentine’s Stop Light Party

Price: $30

 

We have never been to a Stop Light Party, but we are all about it! Get your tickets to Ciderade’s Party if single and proud. They claim that their  “single-friendly Valentine's Day party that won't be a boring, overpriced, cliché dinner.”

 

How do you participate in the Stop Light Party? It is easy. Grab your colored wristband at the door and get to partying.

People’s Last Stand: Valentine’s Day Cocktail Class

Price: $60-100

$60/individual (and a shot of tequila to kill the loneliness)

 

Treat yourself and/or friends to a Valentine's Day Cocktail Class…because why the f not! The class includes two cocktails, cocktail making instruction, and appetizers.

 

We are so intrigued by this event. The instructor will discuss the basics of bar tools, spirits, mixers, juices, etc. and help you make your own cocktails. The class will take two hours and is offered on two dates: Wednesday, February 14th + Saturday, February 17th.

V-Eats: Vegan Valentine Four Course Pop Up Dinner

Price: $50-100 feb 14

 

Located directly next door to V-Eats, the much larger space (formally known as Fat Chicken) will be adorned with flowers and love for Valentines Day! This pop-up dinner is available to those who purchase table ahead of time. You can go stag for $50 or bring a friend for $100. View the tickets and read more information here.

Dallas Arboretum: Food, Music, and Movie in the Garden

If you are into nature, then you want to visit the Dallas Arboretum on Valentine’s Day. There will be live music, a movie screening of Beauty and the Beast and food trucks. The Canopy Cafe will be selling champagne splits and tuxedo strawberries for $15 (comes with two drinks and four strawberries). Single people love desserts too!

Valentine’s Love Jam

Price: Tickets starts at $60

 

Jam out to your favorite love songs at a live concert. Guy feat. Teddy Riley, Jagged Edge, and Ginuwine will be performing at in Dallas on February 17th. Don't miss the concert party that will have you dancing all night long! Doors open at 7:00 pm.

Dallasites101: Be Our Valentine Uptown Bar Crawl

Price: $12

 

Kick off 2018 with Dallasites101’s first bar crawl of the year and 2nd annual Be My Valentine Uptown!!

 

Go stag or bring your friends and enjoy specials at over 6 of your favorite Uptown spots. Last year, this event was completely sold out.

 

Each of the bars will have a wine, well and beer special ranging from $3-5. Plus, there will be a special Valentine's cocktail!!
